Blisters and Scabies

In September 1997, I developed itchy blisters on my hands. I was told by a friend who is a Nurse Aid that I had scabies. Now I think I never did. At the time, I used a scabies lotion to get rid of what he also thought was scabies. The blisters and itch remained. Two months after the blisters and itch first started I ended up in hospital with blisters all over my legs as and hands nothing eased the problem and two weeks later I ended up as a patient at the same hospital with pus seeping from the blisters on my legs. I remained there for a week. The doctors never discovered what caused my condition. Over the coming months I was prescribed various creams and oral steroids, non cleared the problem. I continued to attend and hospital for almost two years.

Eventually the major blisters on my legs healed but my hands remained sore and dry. Every now and then I would get a terrible itch, especially in the mornings. Little nettle like blisters would erupt on my hands and when they wept and dried out the skin was left sore and cracked. Sometimes this was worse than others. Some of it was stress related. In January 2001 I took my brothers advice and began using Neem cream. Within three weeks of starting using the cream my hands were almost healed, within six weeks my hands were perfect. Psoriasis: Sore Hands Healed

For approximately one and a half years I struggled to work. My hands were so sore they would bleed just getting change out of my pocket. I found it difficult to have showers, to work, even to shake hands with someone as abrasions had developed all over both of my hands. The skin on my hands had dried up and they were cracked and cut, extremely sore and painful. I used to work as a car and bike mechanic but had to give this up as even when I wore gloves they would still get worse nothing seemed to work.

We could not pin point exactly what was causing the condition. I came to the conclusion that it was number of things, like oil, washing up liquid, various creams and even water. We tried a lot of different creams from doctors and herbalists however they only lasted a short time and then my hands seemed to develop an immunity against them and return to their original state.

Finally we found neem, after the first week I noticed a difference, it was not an immediate cure. Soon it proved to produce the best results. Now with between 4 - 7 applications a week I'm back to fixing cars. As long as I keep my hands covered when I'm working I have no problems. Even now when I'm not working my hands feel normal again. I don't have to worry about bending my fingers too far which used to cause them to bleed and unless I am working with products that irritate my skin I don't have to wear gloves at all. Neem is definitely the best solution I have found and I'm sure that if I continue to use it I will be able to lead a perfectly normal life, and its all thanks to Neem.(According to Bruce Ireland)
